Let’s be realistic here, for most Singaporeans, I don’t think the majority even have 15k by age 25.

It gets exponentially better but these amounts you are flashing are plain unrealistic.

I was already earning more than 7k gross by age 27 and have not achieve 50k in savings cuz of my Uni fees, giving to parents and paying for my own insurance.

To have substantial savings you must: (1) Earn a significantly high amount; or (2) have little liabilities.

So the people in the video are either earning way over their liabilities or their liabilities have already been covered by someone else.

For most Singaporeans, earning the wage of below 5k gross, whom also need to pay for their own education, own expenses, own cars and houses etc…this video isn’t for you.

You cannot save if you have nothing to save. What you need to do, is earn more. How? That’s something you need to figure out yourself.

At the end of the day, if your liabilities isn’t taken care of for you, you need to earn more to save more.

I am wealthy and have done most things right financially. With that being said these folks do not represent most people in their 20s starting off.

Its great to hear that this group of people are doing great in savings but I think it's also important to understand their background and how did they achieve this. I respect their hustle 100% but I know that it's going to take a lot to actually achieve what they have since I'm financially independent for myself since poly. Settling my student loans and personal bills would not have allowed me to have that much savings. But ofc, some of them may have been through that and still did it. To clarify, it's not the talents but the overall video direction to promote roboadvisors was a bit off imo

Financial advisors selling 1%-2% returns savings plan but investing in 10% returns index fund on syfe. No respect at all, scamming people just to earn money.

Everyone here is full of s***, I pick up ATM slips all the time just to see how much people have in their Bank and out of the hundreds of slips I have, very few people have more than just a few hundred dollars saved....

Those are some good savings amount. I mean if we convert SGD to USD that is still quite a lot for their age. Personally I wish I saved more, but experiences cost a lot haha.

I'm amazed at how much young people from Singapore save! I don't even think people in their 30s usually have that much saved on average in the US or the UK.

I feel like my age and my bank account does tally to what you put up in your video, due to my late development and working status I feel what am I doing with my life. Life is hard, to see people young or older than me achieve saving more than 6 months quite unrealistic. Salary minus of CPF and responsibility hmmm... Good for them

I actually feel good as I had way more in my accounts than these guys did when I was 24.

Most important for me is a saving account that can save up to 600k and never lost any money even if it been saved for a long time like about 37 year or more so my quation is it safe to save up to a millions? Is it safe to save about 37 year or more? Will I lost some money if I save too much?
