Microsoft Word Adds a Space or Indent When You Press Enter - FIX!

You might run across a situation when using Microsoft Word where you press the enter key to go down to the next line or paragraph and Word adds a couple of spaces or a tab instead of moving to the next line. Then you press enter again and it moves to the next line but then the cursor is not even with the other paragraphs and is rather indented a space or two. Fortunately this is an easy fix if you happen to have any section breaks that shouldn't be there.

my enter key on word refuses to go down to the next line unless I press enter + shift, how can I fix it please?
