iPhone 14: What To Expect

We’re just three months away from a new generation of iPhone models, and there’ve been numerous leaks and rumors about the product that we’ll cover in this video so you’ll have an idea of what to expect from the upcoming iPhone 14.

I just really don't understand the point of iPhone 14 (non-Pro) if the rumors are true. It seems nearly identical to the iPhone 13, just possibly inheriting specs from iPhone 13 Pro. It will be extravagently confusing to casual consumers if they end up leaving both phones on sale to see that there's 2 phones, $100 apart from each other, that are basically identical.

I like some of the upgrades that most people don’t notice or care about. I upgraded from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 12 about 2 months ago and the internet speed was one of the biggest improvements. Apple went from an Intel modem to a Qualcomm X55. My carrier has MM Wave 5G and the speeds are unreal, I couldn’t even imagine the X65 modem. The neat thing with having a good modem is that the connection speeds will only get faster as time goes on and the carriers upgrade the towers. I’m also not as worried about the standard model sticking with the A15 chip. I feel like the A14 is already ridiculously fast and the A15 beats it in every way. I see myself keeping my 12 for at least 5-6 years as I did with my 7. The phone actually still works perfectly and feels very snappy. It still has the 6 year old battery and drains fast. I’d still be using it but my carrier offered the 128gb model 12 for around $350. That was way too good to pass up

It will definitely still have a sim slot. Other countries still not keep up with esim only. Unless apple wants to limit their revenue which is very unlikely

I always upgrade every two years. Being on 13 Pro, my next upgrade will be the 15, probably a 15 Pro Max since I kind of regret not buying a Max model this year.

I think the Sim card tray on the iPhone 14 will still be around most more countries Because a lot of carriers don’t support eSIM it might be exclusive to the US eSIM only phones

Considering how extremely accurate your iPhone 13 video was, I'm super excited for this.
I want back and watched your 13. It was like watching the keynote.

However I have one small issue. The size of the pill and cutout is incorrect in your video. It's actually 5mm in radius and 7mm in length. Which irl looks bigger than what you showed.

This seems like one of the most skippable iPhone versions ever, especially considering the 15 is likely to have USB-C instead of lightning. That is a REALLY compelling reason to upgrade, so I’ll be skipping this one in anticipation of that one. I do have a 13 pro though, if I had an older one it might be harder to wait.

Apple Fanboy, i disagree with your comment “Due to supply constraints it will be the first time that we will see last year’s chip in the current iphone setup”; as even during the peak of supply constraints apple was able to make iPhones, macs and ipads with whatever specifications they had set (due to their good relations with suppliers).
This time we are seeing this strategy so that apple can make a better distinction between pros vs non-pro. Also this helps them to make more profit on the non-pros.

I’d really love the light purple on the 14 Pro models since the 13 Pro models had the gold model, while only the regular ones had that Pink / Rose Gold color. Rose gold and similar colors like that like the rumoured light purple are my favorite colors.

The question I want answered on the non-Pro iPhone 14 models are; which A15 will it use, since there are 2 variants of the A15, one with 4-core GPU (Found on the non-Pro 13 Models), and one with 5-core GPU (Found on the 13 Pro Models.)

I have never met an iPhone user who complains about the notch. I have however, met Android users who complain about the notch.

I do not like the esim idea. If something happens to your phone you can put that sim card into another phone. I think the 14 pro is definitely worth the buy this year over the regular models

I’m surprised Apple didn’t make this year’s new model be called iPhone 15, since 2022 is the 15th anniversary of the first iPhone being released.
