1. In fourier integral examples first you need to identify the type of function (odd or even function).
2. If function is even then use fourier cosine integral formula, and if function is odd then use fourier sine integral formula to get fourier integral of given function. If function is neither odd nor even then use general formula of fourier integral.
3. You need to know and remember the formulae of fourier sine integral, fourier cosine integral and general formula of fourier integral. You will need to use any one formula from these three formula while solving any problem on fourier integral.
4. Replacing the value of function in those formula and simplifying the integral will give us the required answer.
