don't let it sit. just use a damp, not soaking wet, paper towel and a few drops of dish soap and shake it. works every time. It's the fact that you filled it with water that kept it from getting clean.

Grout cleaner recipe:
3/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup peroxide
1 Tbsp Dawn

Mix, apply and let set for 15 min. Gently scrub if needed. Wipe off

The oil is hydrophobic which is why you are supposed to shake the bottle not let it sit

To clean stains on containers etc. or even just to lift grease off of dishes etc. use warm water and a dishwasher tablet. Works absolute wonders and removed many many years worth of grease on my pot!

For the yellow stains, rub butter around the stain, then wash it with dish soap. The yellow stains are grease stains and soap doesn't stick to them, butter gives it something to stick to and butter also sticks to the stain.

To prevent the stands from happening in the first place wash stuff out with cold water in the beginning.

For the bottle to actually work use butter or butter cooking spray with the paper tolw and soap .

I think the stained container is too soft the stain stuck to it more unlike the typical tupperware thats harder and glossier.

For lifting the stain try spreading butter over the inside (where the stains at) then without rinsing it out put the dawn and paper towel and shake it and let it set
Also don't let it set that long the longest you should leave it after the butter is like 5 mins and even that is unnecessary

Have you tried smearing butter on the inside and then putting in soap water and shaking, apparently it works

With the furst one, it does work. You have to shake the container with paper towel, dish soap and warm water. Whether it works though probably depends on what caused the stain and how long the stain has been there.

Honestly bleach, super green, dawn, and water and let it soak for a few minutes is one the best ways to clean a stained container. It also works on burnt coffee for coffee pot with a stainless steel bottom.

Add oil to your stained container then add a damp paper towel with dawn and shake. The color binds to the oil then the soap grabs the oil!

First hack works if you do it right. Dawn a little water shake it. Then rinse. If soaking worked there'd be no reason for the paper towel.
