I hope the audio in this video is better than my last one. I spent a little extra time making sure everything sounded better. Thanks for all the feedback and support! ❤
Are you working on starting your art career too? Or do you make art just for fun 🤩

I don't know where you're at currently, but I just want to note going from 0 to 1000 in one month is a VERY large goal and not making it doesn't mean you're failing. Most business do not break even for the first 1-5 years (depending on scale). Consider larger income streams like getting hired to do book covers (fiver? querying? cold emails to publishers and indie authors?), in-person art markets, patreon, and sponsorships if any of your social medias are large enough to support it.

Your channel is like the type to hit 1k to 10k in a month or two. Very educational and realistic mindset for helping Artists who dont know where to start.

Hey there, fellow artist! I'm so glad that I was recommended this video. I'm also trying to make this my full time job because I'm on a time crunch. I'm really hoping that by the end of the year, I'll be able to live off of my art and YouTube income.
Just wanted to say that YOU CAN DO IT! You have such a cute style and this video is already taking off. Wishing the best for you, I'll be following your journey! 😊❤️

Since it's more than half the month already, I hope your journey is going good. I can definitely relate to a lot of your feelings and maybe even fears as an artist who has recently quit, rather than being fired, taking on work from others and am now figuring out how to be successful on my own. Just know that you're art is relevant, you are relevant, and keep going. If art, in any form that interests you, is what you desire, then keep doing what you must till you reach your goals. The art world can be especially more scary now than it was when I began, but hang in there and remember to go at your own pace. Do not let others dictate, especially socials, what that pace should be for you. Good luck!

I was just thinking about how I've been leting my fears guide my path instead of following my dreams. Then, in the same moment, your video came up.
Can't say isn't the universe telling me is time to go for it, but I'm still too scared to begin my jouney. Yet, you inspired me.
So thank you for this video and keep going! 🥰

Hey I just wanted to say, your video resonates so much with me. I am currently working through a major burnout due to my job, I recently made my channel to help me feel productive during my sick leave. I know I need to quit my job and I want to focus on my channel but, like you, I'm also worried that my art is not good enough to make a living. It can feel so overwhelming trying to find the right path for you. I really hope your dream comes true, just remember to enjoy the journey and live in the moment!

$1000/ month is my baseline, too! I plan that by the end of the year to get there! Also, hello!

"It is better to risk starving to death, than surrender. If you give up on your dreams. What's left?"

Such deep words could not have been spoken any better. Thank you for the kind words! My soul could not have asked for anything more.

After all, a little validation to other fellow artists does not hurt.

Good luck, Leah! I'm now 30 and have only been talking about starting for the past 9 years. A few more hours of content like this and I may actually take a step!

This was a great video! I like your plan. Don't worry about wasting a month, I've wasted 3 years. So don't be too hard on yourself. You're doing just great. God bless you on your journey.

Hey! This was a really well made video. The editing, the camera work, the art and story telling at the beginning. I just wanted to say that I am in the same boat as you. I recently got laid off from my HR job (that I was already unhappy with), and decided to push through in my art career through YouTube, leading to other streams of incomes as well! I too am lucky to be in the position of where I am and want to use this opportunity to build where I want to be in my career. So what I wanted to say was good luck! We got this!

One day I will quit my job for my art career, but unfortunately, that day has not come yet. I will however, continue to do my best to achieve that dream.

I'm glad that you're already starting your journey and I'm excited to follow along with you. Best wishes!

I really relate to this because I started my art journey over a year similar to you on YouTube and I also felt I didn’t have anything to show for it. But I know that we are all on our own journeys and everyone has a unique and different path. Social media has made it extremely easy to compare ourselves to our current situations and those living our dreams/goals but I’ve tried to change my perspective into viewing it as if it’s possible for them it’s possible for me and it also took them a while to get that point they were once where I currently am. Declaring what you love and pursuing it can be scary and I think you deserve credit for actually taking that step to do so. I’m glad I found your channel, and I will continue to support because I believe you will become a full time artist 💖💖

It’s almost a month! And I hope you can do it! (It’s a hard job I’ve taken a year to even get an idea of the game I’m making from scratch, not famous just have a little brother who for some reason posted on my channel, myself, my ideas, and my friends) so I hope your able to become a full time artist

Wow, I also want to start my art career as a content creator and I started my channel around 18 months ago too. Having a full time job and two kids really puts a struggle on the workflow so I'm glad to hear that you see your job loss as a positive. I really believe that pressure gives you a laser focus to what you want to do, rather than what you need to do. Best of luck 👍
