House speaker Johnson wades into controversy over trans rights

After Sarah McBride of Delaware became the first openly trans woman elected to Congress, House Speaker Mike Johnson said restrooms in Congress are "reserved for individuals of that biological sex." NBC News' Ryan Nobles reports.

I’m pretty certain that in my 50+ years, I’ve probably been in a public bathroom while a trans person was in there, and never knew it.
If they would have chanted outside the bathroom, waving signs at me and screaming that I am a hater and transphobic and I need to accept their lifestyle choice, it might have been different.
