I absolutely love the video. It's easy to understand. My wife has Chronic Kidney Disease. She received her Kidney Transplant in May 2018. Since then, my twin brother and I have been avid, passionate Kidney Donor Advocates.

I have never seen GFR on my tests. My urine proteins have been off the charts for years.
My blood numbers are fine according to the tests.

My gfr was 90 last month, now its 60. I'm 41. The ultrasound showed no signs of damage. I had high blood pressure but now medicated.

Going in for a renogram next week after having abdominal ultrasound and CT scan without and with dye. They showed mild hydronephrosis and a UPJ obstruction right where the kidnety attaches to the ureter. Possibly born with it and its just cropping its ugly head now at almost 61. My question is, will they do surgery to fix this obstruction or will I just be left to deal with the pain it causes for the rest of my life?

My gfr is at 52 at the age of 37. I work out often and pretty healthy. I don't know how this is possible but I believe I have a family history of diabetes but still don't understand how this is affecting at this age 😔

I'm at 88 I've found out. Confused, I eat a mixed diet, fruits, vegs also processed foods as I believe a balanced diet is mentally healthier so we don't refuse the foods we truely enjoy the taste of. I don't smoke or drink, I drink plenty of water and I exercise, boxing, MMA. I'm 35 in a month's time, I'm 5'11 and now 12st 10 from 14.8 during lockdown.
