Examples of Chinese influence in Africa, Asia, and South America illustrate this strategy, often involving infrastructure investments that lead to economic dependence. In Europe, China invests heavily, buying stakes in key sectors, which raises concerns about debt traps and political influence. Hungary and Serbia show the direct impact of Chinese projects and the resulting internal and external political dynamics. For us in Serbia, China brought oportunities that we have not had in decades. The high speed railway is awesome, and Serbia and Hungary became more frendliy wich is good for we had historicaly bad relations.
