Sony FS700 and Odyssey 7Q 4K Raw Showreel

A quick demonstration reel I shot to showcase the beauty of the Sony FS700/Odyssey combo. All footage is filmed in 4K 12bit Raw @ 24 and 60 fps.

Stunning footage Kieran. I've had a 700 for a few years (one of the first shipped in the UK) Have just bought the Atomos Shogun and sent the cam away to Sony to have the long awaited upgrade. Having 'googled' FS700 4k, I have to say that your work impressed me the most! I am super excited to get the camera back this coming week and start playing with 4K. Best wishes Scott.

It was mainly shot using a Canon L 24 to 105mm, with some shots with Samyang cine lenses.

How many stops does the odyssey add to the dynamic range of the fs700?
Does it really get 14-stops of DR when the fs700 combined with the 7Q?

Hello Kieran! What an amazing video. I currently own a Sony FS700 and I have had it for about 2 years now. I used the camera primarily while shooting sports for Penn State and I am currently looking to upgrade my next videos while using RAW 4K. I do not own and have not used the Odyssey 7Q+; however, I go out and rent the new Shogun 7 by Atomos. I recorded some footage during the day and at night while shooting SLog2 ProRes RAW using both sigma E mount lenses 24mm and 50mm. ISO at 500 & 1000 for a few shots and f/stop at 2.8 or the most 1.8. It was a sunny day so i also had the ND filter set to 1/64. My issue that I am having is I am noticing some noise when I capture my footage, also most noticeable at night, but what are some tips you may have to correct noisy footage?

So clean. I read in the comments you used slog-2, did you adjust your picture profile settings at all or is that just straight slog-2?

What is the difference between the 7Q and the 7Q+ ? IT doesn't seem obvious to me - hopefully I'm missing something obvious because of the price difference I would hope it's something major...

What picture profile did you shoot with? The SLOG2? What was it like shooting with a base ISO of 2000 the whole time? I'm worried about the noise in the shadows and highlights with that high of a base ISO

How does the footage compare noise wise to the internal recording? I can't seem to find a answer anywhere for either this or the FS7
