Electric Light Orchestra - Do Ya - 1977 - Official Video

The ELO album "A New World Record" is simply brilliant and one of the most under rated albums ever made. If you have never heard it, do yourself a favor and look up the songs on Youtube. "Do Ya" is from this album. This is a very rare video, I had never seen it before I found a average copy on Youtube. I have done my best with what I had and have given it a new lease on life with a quality Flac audio track.
Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) began to perform "Do Ya" live with Lynne on lead vocals during 1973–75, and they recorded it in the studio for inclusion on their 1976 album A New World Record. It was released as the third single from the album, but strangely only in the US.

I grew up on ELO with those funky '70s stereos on LP's. We would go to the store and buy the then new Tostino's frozen pizzas and then unwrap our new ELO record and carefully placed the needle down with our greasy little fingers. Then we just got lost for the next hour. It was like listening to a beautiful orchestra - an electric light one. Never forget those days. 50 years later and ELO songs are near 1 billion in Youtube views. We were so lucky.

"A New World Record" is indeed a brilliant album, but I don't see how it can be called underrated. It was a huge hit, produced three Top 40 singles in the US, and elevated the group to superstar status! At the time, it was one of those records that seemingly everyone had in their collections.
