hi. thanks for the advice. im the guy at 8:56 with the really fast flares and narrow hand placement, im still not sure on how to focus on using my hip and kicking into the corners of the room opposed to kicking to my ears. obviously this going to be a horrible habit to kill. is it a matter of walking my legs around my hands in an exaggerated 6 step so my shoulders/lats feel a stretch when my hips are in the front. or is it a case of going for a half a flare but focusing on my legs not coming in to complete 1 flare and focusing on just getting my legs really far in front of my planted arms holding a v?

Rule number one: physical workout. There have to be muscles in certain body areas in order to hold/perform the moves you want. Do it slomo like Magnus and see for yourself in which step of the move you can't hold your position or to weak to do it properly. Calisthenics best. Always have fun!

My biggest problem is the pain in the strips I get after training flares alot.
It always comes when I start to make progress but than have to rest because of the injury/pain in the strips.
Have you ever had a similar problem with this pain coming by training power moves wich force your strips alot ?
