I remember apps like this. Around 2013 there was a gameboy emulator disguised as as a puzzle game in the app store called slider puzzle. You would tap three times at a certain spot in the app which opened up the emulator. There was also another app which was a screen recorder disguised as something else, I forgot the name of it but same concept. A couple weeks later the apps were taken down. Back then you had to jailbreak your apple device to get emulators/screen recorders apps from cydia.
