As you probably know Harbor Freight has largely stopped putting out new coupons. What do you think? Do you like the move? Was it a good idea? Will they be better off without coupons?

Harbor Freight doing away with Coupons is like Coca-Cola changing it's formula.
The coupons will be back after management admits that they broke the Harbor Freight success formula.

Completely agree. I REALLY miss the paper catalogs and I too am waiting for them to bring something like it back.

The catalogs gave you ideas to go look at. The weekly ITC special coupons are missing also!

I used to save people in Line Money. One Guy I saved 415.00 by giving him a coupon . I was so pissed when I showed up and they won't take my old coupons. They used to take expired Coupons

No reason to ever go back to that dump again. Good

Without *FREE* or *20%-30% off*, there is absolutely NO reason for me to step in their store. Walmart has tarps that are larger and cheaper. Also HART tools are better.

Agree! I haven’t been in the store since the coupons went away.

I really miss thumbing through the catalog for deals and gifts and clipping them out. Went well with my coffee at breakfast. Also really miss the 20% off on almost anything coupons! Having to fiddle with my damn phone at checkout now is a huge turnoff! ITC advantages???... yet to notice.

It got me excited, especially the paper catalogs- get up early on a weekend flip through with some coffee. Emails were okay too. The point was I felt good knowing I’d been eyeing something and waiting for the coupon I know is coming. Now there’s no incentive to shop there, especially with the prosumer price points - I’m better off getting something better. Overall can’t help but feel they lost their way.

I was in my local HF in South Nashville Tn yesterday, , , it was me, and 2 store employees, ohh, , they still give the $10.00 gift card when you join the inside track club, , but you have to do it online,

I agree with you in the going to home depot getting better tools with better warranties for the sane price if not sometimes less then hf

I never open the instant savings emails ever you open the email then in order to see all the coupons or see all the deals you have to click the show entire page tab its annoying I always delete the emails without reading them

There are permanent paper and digital coupons still around

I haven't shopped there since they ditched the coupons. I have no plans to. I'd rather buy used tools then new hazard fart

Since the paper coupons vanished I don't go to hf anymore the new inside track isn't worth the price no more

For me the coupons made it kind of fun.

The catalogs cost a lot to produce and distribute in paper form. I think one of the reasons they dropped them was half empty shelves because shipping had basically stopped.
They pay companies to design & build tools. Some the same tools that Menards sells just different branding. They might go online again but they won't go back to paper it costs too much

I totally agree! They'll likely bring them back. I hope. And let's all admit it, getting that catalog in the mail was like getting a new christmas catalog. Even if you were just looking at it. I use to look through those things 3-4 times a week, and throw it away when I got a new one lol
