Its always good to hear a modern instrument orchestra play with restrained/no vibrato. Very enjoyable.

This is so unusual, I love it!
I love the trio part in this Bach's 1st Orchestral Suite (well also his 3rd and 4th), mainly because of the bassoon part.
I play the double bass, and thus I know Bach always give us wonderful bass lines.

The oboe player with the flower in her hair is gorgeous

I think that modern instruments have a much prettier sound than their ancestors, just because their sounds have been improved. They kept the tone, but more refined. Purists may prefer the baroque orchestras, it is a matter of preference. But in my opinion it sounds better without being a museum piece. Because it is universal music, it transcends time and space.

Great performance! But I would have liked not a 'hautboiste' as the leader. It seemed that it was his
only chance to lead an orchestra. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not so well.
