I use Offerup everyday. Sometimes you can get really good deals. I meet a guy yesterday was moving out of the state. Sold me some Ebay merchandise.

I've used OfferUp and LetGo for years! I've sold lots of things between the two. I've bought stuff for myself/my household, as well. And recently a guy let me combine a lot of liked stuff, and already I've more than doubled my cost, and still have stuff from the lot to list! I haven't looked into the OfferUp shipping situation cause I didn't know how easy it was...but maybe now I will.
I also just recently added the community app, NextDoor, which isn't a selling marketplace app, but you can sell stuff on there; met a woman last week to sell 14 Hallmark Ornaments!

Letgo use to be really good in my area. They made some improvements with being able to repost listings much easier than Offer up. The downside to Letgo for me was a lack of categories. I like the Toys/Games and Collectibles categories on Offer up. It kind of seems redundant for Offer up to buy Letgo. I don't see what Letgo adds in value. I just don't see how Offer up will be making any money. If you look at their shipping label prices the 3lb rates and higher are cheap but I believe they are supposed to be at cubic rates. Ive shipped heavy packages from Florida to California for $13.99. Looking at the weight/rates from USPS the package would have cost $45 priority mail. So that has me scratching my head. And the 12.9% fee that Offer up charges just makes selling on Mercari a smarter idea.

I have had zero luck using using these apps, including FB marketplace, for selling. They are a great place to source inventory though. Sellers are usually so frustrated by all the flakes that they'll happily accept a lowball offer from a serious buyer with cash in hand. 😆

BOTH of these: BUYING: Fine..SELLING: absolutely horrible in my area! I will only use these for purchases or bulk buys and then resell on Facebook or eBay Selling is a waste of time on these, for me anyway

abused OfferUp for quite a while now and let go at first letgo application itself was terrible but they improved it much and it has been much better. But OfferUp used to be great and now I just feel like the people are so flaky and no one ever pulls through. But the applications itself I like them

It would be nice if they consolidated the two apps, such that it becomes a larger unified marketplace that can compete with Mercari and eBay.

Is it true that self employed people can now apply for unemployment benefits. Can we as ebay sellers apply for unemployment. At least thats what i heard, not sure if its true

Im super glad Letgo is going away, WOSRT. APP. EVER! Offer-up is awesome and i use it daily to look for items. Ive found some great items on there.

All my friends like Offerup much better. Letgo is crap at least where I live and the app is just not good. Too many ads, outdated info and just weird to use.

I love OFFERUP. I started using it heavily when I constantly started getting flagged on FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE for no good reason. Marketplace also took away the shipping selling feature for locals. It's a more exclusive feature now. For Facebook shops and a BETA program. OFFERUP was my go to place to ship my bulkier heavier items from Facebook Marketplace. However after my most recent app update for OFFERUP that has changed. They now have started restricting shipping by Demensions instead of weight. Making it harder to ship. OFFERUP also has a promotion plus feature that does not work. It puts your items at the top of the search. You use to be able to promote three items for $19.99 a month with unlimited swaps. Now its only 1 item for $19.99 a month no swapping items. Pretty pricey since Ebay in comparison allows a small promotion fee. Lastly, LEGO SUCKED. I never sold anything on there. They were either not as popular im my area or never advertised items.
