HOW TO FIX Minecraft 'Your Java Runtime is Incompatible' Java 16 1.16.1

With the new launcher update Mojang made it so old versions cannot use newer Java and gives you this error.

If you are using the Windows Store version of the launcher you may need to manually navigate to the file located typically C:\Users\[USER]\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Install\game
OR
C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.4297127D64EC6_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local\game
They keep updating the launcher so you might have to check a few places

Launching the game failed!
"Your Java Runtime is incompatible. Please edit your installation to use the bundled Java Runtime.
Name: Java version mismatch

Simple solution to this error, you will probably have to re-do it every time Minecraft launcher updates. If you try this and you still get the error you may have to re-install Java 16.

If you are using the microsoft/windows store version of the launcher, and since they keep updating it and changing stuff unnecessarily. You may have to manually navigate to to find the JavaCheck.jar file to delete. ANOTHER possible location is (numbers might be different per pc but I'm hoping they aren't). If you can't find it then search for JavaCheck.jar on your pc in the search menu and find the folder that way.

You should delete this video or add a note saying it no longer works, but more over, you should edit it so people don't delete files that they won't know how to replace.

Minecraft Version 1.17 Java Runtime is Incompatible

The Caves and Cliffs update of Minecraft: Java Edition requires Java 16. If you are unable to launch the game, you can check your installation to use the version of Java which is bundled in with Minecraft. Please follow these steps.

Click the Installations tab

Click your install to bring up the Edit installation UI

Click More Options

Press the X button in Java Executable

Click Save

Now you can launch your game without encountering this error

Alright so this works but now my game has no sound, I think this is honestly a mojang problem at this point

Did that, now it crashes with a different error saying ''An unexpected issue occurred and game has crashed. Exit Code 1''. Trying to use the newest IBM Semeru Runtime with 1.16.5. It worked perfectly with 1.12.2 but not 1.16.5, any tips?
