Black Christmas Movie Review

Perri Nemiroff and John Rocha review Black Christmas, the newest remake of the 1974 horror cult classic. The film stars Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Lily Donoghue, Brittany O'Grady, Caleb Eberhardt and Cary Elwes. It was directed by Sophia Takal from a screenplay by Takal and April Wolfe. Black Christmas opens in theaters nationwide Friday December 13, 2019.

I saw this with a group of friends. Two of them were dating. The guy fell asleep and the girl rested on his shoulder. That was more interesting than what was going on in the movie. Even my friend who fell asleep said he wanted to gouge out his eyes after seeing this movie.

The dialogue. Can we just talk about how damn cheesy that dialogue was.... it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve seen this year but it was just so heavy handed and forceful. The kills as well weren’t even that interesting.
