Getting Started With ArcGIS Utility Network

A utility network is a special configuration of your GIS data allowing realistic modeling and management of assets and other infrastructure related to one or more of a set of managed utilities.

The utility network is built and configured in ArcGIS Pro, usually as a File Geodatabase, and can optionally be deployed to either ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. Using AGO or AGE allows for a services-based setup, ultimately allowing users and other stakeholders to access utility data using desktop, web and mobile devices.

In this webinar we cover general information regarding the two major phases or steps when getting started which are Data Migration and Adding/Editing the Data.

Hello, this video is super great for helping explain utility networks, I had a question; how are you linking your domains from a separate work book into your mapping excel file? And how do you reference a specific tab in the domains workbook? Thanks!

Would love to see more like this! I'm trying to use Arc online and field maps to manage assets in a water utility. I know there's alot you can do with but keep hitting a wall trying to do simple tasks.

Hi, congratulations on your brilliant exposure, could you make more videos on the netowrok utility? It was really very clear and brilliant. It would be really useful to see how the utility network is built, perhaps for a telecommunication network and how it is managed with this tool. I write from Italy, nobody here knows her like you do. I take this opportunity to ask if you have any notes or other material on the utility network, I am an environmental engineering student and they would really help me a lot.
Thank you very much and congratulations again
