To be fair the thing with the avocado oil happens with both "vegetable oil" and even "Olive oil". I think my organic chemistry professor mentioned something about peanut oil in what was supposed to be olive oil cause a kid to have a serious allergic reaction and someone ended up getting sued over it.

I learned a long time ago that most oil is vegetable or soy. There only has to be a small percent of olive oil for them to be able to sell it as that. Unless you get the expensive stuff
