With the exception of the pricing, which Renault has now revealed, every aspect regarding the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric is known. Inspired by the iconic R5 design, this compact electric vehicle is intended to have a significant effect on the small electric vehicle industry beginning in the fall of 2024.
The Techno and the Iconic Five, which both have a bigger 52-kWh battery, will be the first models available. Next year, a less expensive base model with a 40-kWh battery will be available. Renault had already promised an electric car for 25,000 euros, and this base model will retail for 24,900 euros. In 2025, two further models—Evolution and Roland-Garros—will be introduced, rounding out the roster.
