Man this is how bad this is--California is considered to have a low birth rate issue at 1.5 tfr. In 2021 California had a population of 39.2 million and 420, 000 babies born. But in Korea that same year they had a population of 51.7 million (32% higher than CA) and only 261, 000 babies born (38% lower than CA). That is incredible. You would at least expect those birth numbers to be reversed, which in itself would be bad.

What do you expect unfair laws and customs will cause this. They are their own fault.

It’s too late, they’re now going to have to accept that this issue will come and it will come decade by decade. If their social economic culture doesn’t with any drastic changes, then this will be the norm.

If you want couples to have more kids, you need to give them financial reasons to do give couples 10 years of tax exemption every-time they get a child. Give each child $500 per month until age 18. Just those two things would drastically increase the birth rate. Throw in free child care as a cherry on top and a $100k baby bond.... and you'll be FLOODED with babies. Other option is to bring less educated people from 3rd world nations/developing nations, they'll also increase the child birth rate.

Not giving money to child.
Just don't make money gap between who have baby or not have baby.
Child is extremely luxury to raise in S.Korea

Why are your women working. You’re so close to getting this right. Everyone is smart. Men work and earn money doing something useful and women manage the home and children. Yes there’s more to it but, baby steps…

I would say countries like Korea and Japan will suffer from population growth because they don’t allow immigration first of all. I also understand that people are overwhelmed with work in these nations.

Look at Mexico 🇲🇽, Vietnam 🇻🇳, Brazil, Thailand 🇹🇭. Their population has remained study at best with growth. Immigration plays a role in it.
