Well. There's also the fact that Mercedes were only willing to give Lewis a 1 year contract. Honestly by doing that, they instigated this shift from him. Ferrari gave him a multi year deal. Why Mercedes couldn't do the same after they won 7 Constructors Championships with him is beyond me.
