Its a good decision for them to leave the 2023 car and focus on next year. They should use the rest of the races to test new theories and get good data, regardless of results. While Ofcourse results matter, coming lower down the constructors table does allow more wind tunnel testing. But Ofcourse all of this depends on them not fucking up the 2024 car again

“When rule changes were made to protect all teams from the problem…” No protect Mercedes from the problem because they were the only ones not accepting they had to raise height and reduce speed to get around the problem, either that or design a better car.

Let's not forget that FIA introduced the rule change to raise 15mm the floor only to help Mercedes with porpoising. RB, Ferrari, Alpine and McLaren for example had the problem very much solved without raising the car.

Actually they are really missing the large budget and extra Specialists of four and three years ago … one thing the FIA got right … flicked the advantage to the weeds. RB isn’t suffering because they have always been leaner. I hope they don’t get caught blowing their budget cap this season.
