Two things to add to your video. First you don't need to use sudo when you are using root. Sudo mean Super User do, or rather root do this. Second when you want to change the permissions of a specific file or folder you can use the entire path name of the folder. So for you you can just do chmod -R 755 /path/to/your/folder. When you use 755 you are saying to the computer give the owner read, write, and execute access to everything in the folder. Hope this helps you in the future.
