If you do a jump attack with the Deku Stick against a wall it will "break" and you can use the broken bit as a semi-permanent weapon. (It'll stay around until you use another item. I did this on the 64 as a kid.)

So basically OoT randomizer? My first one had the Kokiri Sword in the Spirit Temple. It's not easy, but swordless is pretty doable until the Gannon fought. Then it becomes impossible, Master Sword HAS to do the final hit

I have a tradition where I replay OoT once a year and I've been trying to keep finding new ways to do it. Took me FOREVER to figure out the jump attack against Dead Hand. I was scouring message boards. Psyched as all hell to watch the video.

The biggest difference between swordless Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild is that Ocarina of Time is actually a well designed game even without the sword.
