I'm impressed that you wrote a script for this and didn't just cut together your previous videos. Nice work!

the fact that you made the download FREE for BOTH versions of minecraft was enough for me to subscribe. Crazy project and I couldn't even imagine the patience you possess.

Bro, wait. There's NO way you just give the link out to the world for free. No patreon? No price? HOLY. That alone tells me so much about your character, and honestly, makes me genuinely hope you go far in this career. You worked hard on a project for so long, and in the end, you just... hand it out, because you KNOW people will enjoy your work, and will enjoy the things you made.

Thank you, sir. Thank you for your character, and thank you for being an absolute legend.

I just downloaded the map and made it to Kakariko Village, and in the main house there is a book with a note

"well hi :)

this was written on June 9, 2022, at 2:58PM. Current Subcount: 3, 380.

I wonder how long its been, how much has changed..."

Reading that kinda brought me back to reality, connected me to the build. It's interesting to see how far you've come

Phenomenal work, man! I have a little suggestion on a new build project if you're keen on expanding your building skills: Cyberpunk 2077's Night City. It'd be a stark contrast from the nature and wilds that is BOTW, but it may be perfect for learning new building skills and styles centered around hyper-modern buildings and technology. Plus, there are still some large open areas away from the main city where your heavily-developed terrain skills will still matter a lot.

It'd be one hell of a challenge I'd bet though - similar to BOTW in scale due to the verticality and level of detail, but dang would it be cooool... I don't mind if it takes another 3 years to be honest - but don't burn yourself out over it and definitely keep seeking help when you need it!

Anyway, get yourself a coffee on me bro!

Just downloaded the map. Super sick love that it's free to access and not behind a patreon or anything as justified as that'd be. That said, here's some cash

Congratulations on officially finishing the project! The cinematics were a ton of fun to see, and I still can't believe you powered through all the building. This has been an incredible series and I can't wait to see what's next!

Definitely didn't almost cry when I saw the whole map completed with shaders. Nope. Didn't happen.
Anyways, I refuse to download the map for free so take my money. Excited to see whatever you decide to upload from this point forward.

For people that love both BotW and Minecraft, this may be the greatest thing I've ever seen in video games. A monumental task, superbly done. The attention to detail is incredible.

The amount of pride you must have felt placing those last two gold blocks mustve been immense. Intense respect for this, man.

I am fairly old, detached, and have never played the Switch: Zelda games. Despite this, I found this video enlightening. I have never wanted to give up but always struggle to find the motivation to continue. I have always had a coach, or a short term goal to provide some form of satisfaction, but eventually I became the pilot of my own demise, and the waywardness of life gave no qualms to ailments.

Short term goals only severed as a mallet to further drive nails into a coffin, and every task became bleak. Resulting in the need to completely start from ground zero, but now every part of my struggle feels similar to your description of the Hebra Moutains & Tabantha Tundra regions amidst peak burn-out. Except now this was my entire build, this is my life. I was previously one small grind away and now every action is a seemingly infinite grind, but giving up feels far more regrettable then ceasing to push onward.

You explained how Axiom, and twitch chat helped rekindle a spark, ultimately leading to the motivation you needed to push through the burnout. You foreshadowed how your choice to proceed clockwise from the initial project instead of counter clockwise may of been what ultimately enabled you to complete this project. It is clear that with the bias of hindsight that timing is everything. One small choice, allowed for gradually increasing tangible-ness of the finale. The goal acting as a fuel itself, like a slow drip for every spark you mustered along the way.

I have failed to enable that slow drip, and for the longest time my goals in life have slipped further and further away. Reaching out for help has failed to always find a spark, and even when it has, sometimes there isn't enough fuel to rekindle my fire. I can easily learn from your decision to look to others where you fail short, like color blindness. I should look beyond myself to find the motivation to escape my own darkness. I have always attempted to prepare future metaphorical shaders for the finale, but I have failed to incorporate activities into my build that would inherently fuel my imagination. Without that giddiness that takes discipline in it self to stave off, it is clear I have failed to provide myself a future gift to be excited about.

My goal, my reward, was always completion of the journey, and that in itself isn't enough to fight burn out. This video has shown me how important incorporating future excitement is in every part of my journey. Doing this will provide that slow drip, allowing me to finally get pass that ever growing hump.

I am going to make a new outline, and this time, I will find a way. I will incorporate milestones that build upon themselves so that unlocking them and unlocking more of them enable the finale to be even more enjoyable. Planning for my Axioms(new tools, platforms), planning for engagement(social gatherings/networks), and ultimately planning for reflection that isn't recourse alone.(ie: finally getting to see the shaders)

Thank you for allowing me to finally understand a cliché, that for a long time never really meant anything to me:
The summit is more than the sum of it's parts.

Thank you,
For shining a spotlight on a truth that I have been missing for years:

I have to find a way to ensure completion alone is not my only motivation.

Hey, dude, seriously great job. I’ve been on it for hours and it’s fantastic. The fact that you’ve been able to push yourself through the toughest of times and commit yourself to a massive project like this is inspiring. You’ve come so far, and this series shows it all. You’re training yourself to do big things, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come.

But seriously you could totally do totk
