JD2 Model 32 bender failure (Brand new 2018/2019)

After explaining to JD2 that the anti spring-back pin is binding up in the 2018/2019 JD2 Model 32 bender, they sent me new parts and it still binds up and fails violently. JD2 is now ignorantly stating that the anti spring-back pin should only be used on large dies and they claim this is "improper use of the equipment".

I just purchased a model 32 and converted it to air over hydro using the Swag Offroad bracket kit. Using the 1.75" die, when I push the ram out to full extension and the anit springback lock pin drops in the next hole and I go to release the ram, retract everything and re-pin, everything is bound/locked up and I have to fight with it to get everything undone ( i'm talking rubber mallet and force). Ultimatley have to remove the anti-springback pin and let the die rotate back to free the bender arm up to let the ram retract. Different issue than this but same in that my set up is binding and locking up. Called JD2 for guidance, no response. Any help here appreciated.

i think the import ones are cheaper and better .
