For those who are asking how do I get my changes to save if you are using forge you need to use the regular notepad not ++ as it worked for me when I used it to config ice and fire on 1.16.5 also to reload it just simply close forge and reopen

It really worked for me. I had both Vampirism and Custom Mob Spawner, so vampires do not spawn, but now thanks to you they can spawn.

For people on MAC: finder>help>type in "library">application support>minecraft>config>open with textedit

but oh my gawd thank you so much for making this!!! i know it's almost a year old now but this really helped me disable the annoying pickup feature on Gulliver

don't backup your config files, just delete if you made a mistake and it will be restored with standard settings when you start minecraft again :)

omg, super helpful. literally spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to enable a setting on a mod i was using. it was defaulted to False, even though its one of the core parts of the mod (incredibly stupid, i know -_-), and the only way to enable it was through the config... which no one explained how to do. anyway, 10/10, great video, very informative and straight to the point
