What I'm going to do is have the electrical and ducting in a central channel running in the center of the floor, with water running in it's own channel beside the first one. The channels will then be covered by a series of long rectangular panels that will keep little fingers and paws safely away from danger. When the desired utility needs to branch off, it will snake it's way up to it's destination.

How should you manage the potential for leaks in areas like kitchens and bathrooms? For example, should those rooms not have cob or should the cob walls be elevated? The concern is leaking that goes into the floor for example
