Well, in the northern region of France in an area called Brittany, Jean-Yves Bordier does butter one bit better. Using three different types of seaweed, Bordier’s butter brings a special salty earthiness—one that has won over some of the top chefs of our time.

I tried this branded seaweed butter and it taste extraordinary. I haven't try it on bread yet, but I've tried adding in my mushrooms to make mushroom soup. Tastes just like buttered mushroom soup with a hint of seaweed.

Will totally buy it again if .. I have more money XD

I use a brand of sea salt - seaweed salt - that has kelp and dulse in it (instead of adding an iodine compound to make it meet the federal standard for iodized salt). I sprinkle it on just about everything I put salt on, both in cooking and at the table. It's an easy way to add a bit more nutrition to my daily diet. I like it best on hot buttered popcorn. Is there any place in the US where I can by Breton seaweed butter?
