Stanley Ole Mapya: Herbalist calling for mainstreaming of traditional medicine

The efficacy of traditional medicines has been at the centre of debate in medical corridors, with some people holding the opinion that herbs have done more harm than good to patients in treatment for certain diseases, while others support use and further research on herbal medicine. Citizen Digital visited Mzee Stanley Memusi at his home in Ololoosuyian village in Kajiado County to understand more about traditional medicine and the diseases he claims they can treat. Memusi says that he inherited the trade from his grandfather.
