Absolutely agree with all the points laid out. Blameless post mortems are key to moving towards a preemptive ecosystem, yet tend to require a complete mindset shift. One thing I’d add is the concept of chaos engineering.

Is it worth doing SRE if you do not get to work on cloud platforms but you work on mainframe instead. I got an offer but I don't know really as to how mainframe will even add any value to my profile.
