Someone asked about SRE in my interview and I couldn’t answer it.. now it’s understandable why we need SRE

DevOps implements, SRE ensures that the sites are running well and fixes issues in production. It confused me too, when some companies hire for SRE and put them in L1 helpdesk and monitoring

So can we apply to sre role through devops skills?🙄

DevOps is the practice of developers owning both the Development process and Operations (aka deployment).

Site Reliability Engineering is a field which defines a number of common practices for measuring and managing the reliability of complex systems.

Theres's no DevOps vs SRE. SRE is completely separate field from DevOps.

If you'd like to talk more about what they both are in depth, feel free to get in contact.
