The escalator and drink thing is fairly common in the UK. Surprised it isn't the same in Germany.

I wish we had those liquid things in America because I’ve never liked throwing liquid in the trash. I never let my kids and my husband do it because it just makes a mess and also no loose trash in the bin that goes down on the curb.

Escalator etiquette is very important here in Australia too! But make sure you stand on the left and walk on the right. We walk on the left on footpaths here too

Appreciation of another country and its facilities is nice. These may be things we have in our countries and take for granted, but seen through the eyes of someone seeing particular things for the first time, it's refreshing. Uyen and GB's travel vlogs are always illuminating .

They do the escalator thing in San Francisco as well, I’m pretty sure that’s just common courtesy in cities.

Awwww hearing about negative things about Korea in Internet is blunt but true so I was kind of sad but pointing out positives that I even weren’t aware of was such a heartwarming thing ❤ especially for the subway line

The escalator thing is very common in Switzerland too and you get very bad looks if you stand on the wrong side, also most fast food restaurants here have those bins too. We also have usb outlets in public transportation so you can charge your phone even if you forget the plug

I thought the escalator thing was pretty common around the world. If you stand on the wrong side here in São Paulo (Brazil) ppl will stare and you f'up the whole influx lol

I looove Korea... when I first visited back in 2002 it was already SO much advanced that I smile when I see recent tenchnologies now "like electronic and smart toilets..." that I had seen in Korea 20 years back... yup! Power of Education!!
