A volcano in southwestern Iceland has erupted for the sixth time since December. The eruption took place on the Sundhnukur crater row, east of the Sylingarfell mountain.

It's part of a volcanic system that does not have a central crater, but erupts through giant cracks in the ground.

Nearby areas were evacuated but officials do not consider the eruption a threat to life.
