knife throwing targets? - Epic Blade Time

I highly recommend using cardboard when you are just starting or are teaching children because it is much safer, You can also use types of foam material. Using sheet lumber is tough, more bulky lumber will make for a better target. Some Log rounds will be too dense of wood and will not work. A dead tree is fine target! Throwing at live trees is very wrong. Please send this along to your friends if you agree!

The only problem for anyone in an urban environment is: it's impossible to get a hold of a log round! Home Depot doesn't carry them, nurseries laugh at you, and even IF you see a city official cutting down a tree, they give you some kind of winded argument saying it's against policy and you can't have ONE slice, let alone a few.
It's a pain in the ass.

Cardboard is a great target. Very good for beginners so they dont have to worry about bounce backs. Also, cheap internet knives don't break when you throw them at cardboard...just my 2 cents
