State of emergency declared in Canada storm - BBC News

A state of emergency has been declared in the Canadian western province of British Columbia after a major storm cut road and rail links in the region.

The Canadian Armed Forces are being deployed to help thousands of stranded residents who have been trapped.

One woman was killed in a landslide, and two people are missing.

My city also suffer from this kind of phenomenon, I'm from Malang, Indonesia. Malang divided in three town Malang city, Kabupaten Malang, and Batu. In Malang and Batu heavy rain fall since morning at the hill side and in th city, it make 5 meters wide of river become triple it size and wash any properties along the river. Also flooded any river in Malang.
Therefore our water system is cut off in almost a week and many people lost their home and belonging.
