Thanks, man. Worked like a charm. I use a OnePlus 8, never had my keyboard just randomly stop working. Is there a reason this happens or just a random android bug?

I just got a new phone. And for some apps I have to close the keyboard app before tapping search. I used to be able to type what I was searching for and then hit the sideways "send" arrow above the keyboard. But for some reason the screen above the keyboard is non-responsive until I exit the keyboard. This is on Android 13.

I just got a new tablet the other day and the keyboard (gboard) works erratically. It types some keys fine and other keys you have to press the button up to 8 times for letter to appear. Thanks for this helpful video.
