step 1:
Open command prompt-right click on it…………….
then run as adminintrator---
then type-net stop Wuauserv----enter (ok)

Step 2:
go to run option- and type--- %windir%---
Then open software distribution –and rename it as -- Sdold.

Step 3:
then go to command prompt---
Type-net run Wuauserv—enter (ok)

Close all open programs.
Open the Windows Start menu.
Type "Control Panel" into the search and open Control Panel.
Go to Programs and Features.
Select Uninstall a Program. Don't worry, you aren't uninstalling anything.
Select Turn Windows features on or off.
Find .NET Framework on the list.
Check the settings for both .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

Note: The steps to fix .NET. Framework 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, and 4.8 are the same.
