This browser is faster and more responsive than all the other modern browsers I've used. Even Chrome. That without mentioning the new functionality and how good it looks.

I guess this is now my new default browser.

i remember me on my first talk about opera: "Hey, its so excited, the new Firefox has tabs so you can get browse in just one window, you should test them!" - "Erm Tabs? Sorry i use opera - they have tabs since few years"

Some Years later in 2015, same person:
"Firefox is sooo innovative, now you can pick up your favorite site on the blank new tab!"
"ohhh boy... you shouldnt believe how old this idea was"

2020:
"Chrome come now with a side bar with bookmarks, thats so impressive to use them" - "COME ON!!! Opera included E-Mail IRC Facebook Twitter Notice Whatsapp and a lot of more stuff on the side bar and split the screen to use a 16:9 Monitor and not a 9:16" - maybe, i hope a little bit :-)

As a full-stack web developer, I'd have to say Vivaldi is a pleasure to work with. It provides great user experience to both users and developers while retaining great performance, standard consistency and less resource hogging. Great job Vivaldi devs!

Usually i'm not a fan of minimalistic design, but I love the fact that this browser lets you customize it to your liking with different color schemes and even the positioning of the tabs. Plus I love the web panels in a single window idea. I can totally see where this would be used and how it would affect productivity!

I tried Vivaldi since beta 2. It was not very mature yet very responsive. Now, it is better than most browser out there.
I like to have a separate browser for my second display. It was Firefox with dozens of tweaks, I decided to switch to Vivaldi since version 1.2.
It is easier to manage, more customization, faster and it fits my personal preferences from Chrome.

I will stay on Chrome as primary browser on my main computer as I need to drag tabs between windows without right click.

However, I have installed Vivaldi on most of my Computers(except my media canter). It is the default primary browser on my ancient MacBook Pro, on the Windows 10 insider preview, on many of my virtual machine newer than Windows 7.

Vivaldi is very innovative, the more I use it, the more I love it. I really appreciate the great work and new features on every update. It is very consistence through Windows, Mac and Linux, with impressively great integration on each platform.

Switching browser from one to another is a year-long journal for me, but it only take me 1 week to find out all the tweaks I need and adapt to it.

It is default browser, but I need to install Chrome at the first place to get all my bookmarks. If I can sync every settings, extensions, bookmarks, sidebar to my Google account. I can convince more people to use switch.

Made the switch from Chrome to Vivaldi permanently. Only issue I have with it is with one of my extensions, it tends to hang. Besides that one very small thing though, it's such a better user experience over every other browser I've used. Bravo, Vivaldi!

Been using Vivaldi as (mostly) my primary browser since Vivaldi_TP2.1.0.118.19 (still got the installer :P). Absolutely no intention to go back to anything else. Things break from time to time, then they get fixed the very next day, along with 10 more features and updates - none of which are intrusive or annoying. It really feels like Opera used to back before everything went... weird. Huge thanks to the team for their hard work. It's been so cool watching the feature list grow.

I've grown to LOVE Vivaldi. More than any other browser for a long time, maybe since the good ol' day of Opera. It's functional, customizable, reliable, quite nice really! Vivaldi + startpage.com + adblock works wonders. May it have a good long run of satisfaction!

I am running Linux Mint Serena 18.1 and I downloaded this web browser today: 1.9.818.44 (Stable channel) (64-bit), and this is hands down the best web browser I have ever used in my life. It beats everything. Extremely fast and smooth. Thank you for the excitement. Very cool! This is now my ONLY browser.

Just discovered this browser today. After only about 20 mins I had everything setup how I like. It imported my bookmarks from chrome automatically, its a chromium based browser so 99.9% of chrome extensions should work perfectly. All of the extensions I use on chrome work perfectly (Lastpass, Ublock Origin, Better Twitch TV, FrankerFaceZ). You literally just go to the chrome extension store and install what you want just like when using chrome. Really love the UI, looks fantastic. Has a few built in themes, but you can create your own easily right in the settings window, just pick the foreground, background, and accent colors you want. It's UI and functionality are incredibly customizable with tons of options (without being overwhelming).

Only thing that I know might tempt me back to Chrome is that I use a Android smartphone, and the syncing of bookmarks, and tabs is really nice to have. Also would like to see this browser have something like firefox sync, where I can make a "Vivaldi account" and have my settings, extensions, bookmarks, etc synced to the cloud so that when I use a new computer or reformat I can just sign in and everything will set its self up automatically like chrome/firefox. I think the devs have already announced they are going to add that in the future though. Anyways excellent job devs, you are off to a damn good start.
