Many of the most dominant sports teams from the 2000s remain extremely dominant today. That includes the New England Patriots and San Antonio Spurs, of course.

On the flip note, many of the worst teams from the 2000s remain terrible today. A handful of them have turned it around in the 2010s, but many remain quite awful.

Where are the Detroit Lions & the New York Knicks? The 2000's were the Matt Millen & Isiah Thomas Eras; dark times filled with lousy draft picks, terrible free agent signings, & more L's than the script of a Spanish soap opera. The Lions went 0-16 for Christ sakes. That alone is almost enough to guarantee the #1 spot!

As a Royals fan, I can assure you that everything Mike told you about the Royals is 100% true. Consistent 100 loss seasons, bottom of the AL Central every year, Billy Butler being the best player throughout those years, tickets as cheap as $28, 29 year playoff drought, you name it. The 2000's wasn't pretty for KC.
