I wish people gave drugs away for halloween.
But they dont.
Because they cost a lot of money.

To anyone thinking this is an issue for children on Halloween, i dont know much about business, but I do know that the last thing you wanna do as a drug dealer is give away your expensive drugs for free, especially to children who would have no way of ever buying more even if they were trying the "first hit is free" strategy. This is not an issue for children. The colors, like most pharmaceutical pills, are used to distinguish dosage and to look like the original medication its parroting, which typically is oxycodone which comes in pink (10mgs), green (15 mgs), and blue (30 mgs), it is in no way made to get children hooked on drugs they'd never be able to afford.

This is absolute rubbish, anyone that even remotely understands the underground drug market knows the chances of any intelligent dealer seeking out children as their target audience is slim to none, does it happen occasionaly?, sure its gonna happen.. But the reality is, its purely for branding/identification purposes.

This is insane, I at one point was prescribed very similar meds. I can’t even tell the difference on these! This is scary!!!

Lol, if your kid needs to be explicitly told not to take mystery pills you've already failed as a parent 🤣

The different colors are to differentiate the real pills from fake pills. This idea that people are oblivious to fentanyl, or their targeting children is ridiculous.

My advice is start in middle school and emphasize heavily on how dangerous it is during 6-8th grade. After that you’re not going to stop a young teen from doing it. Just make it harder and more common. 14 is the youngest age I know where it starts. After that if they’re heavy drugs then idk what to tell you, they’re gone. I’m not saying weed is a better option but compared to hardcore drugs if you pass up weed you became the problem and couldn’t control what you’re doing. I’m not saying no one should or shouldn’t do drugs but if you feel you should then try to maintain a limit and not go above that. Buy from safe locations eg. dispensaries. Either you can hate the tax or gamble and end up getting laced. Whatever you do. Just be smart and ask yourself what you’re getting into.

This needs more views. Parents please educate your kids on this. Many teens have died recently due to drug overdoses

Elementary school kids as young as 3rd grade seems fine to me.
Seeing how we have 5th graders take dare classes and they help kids become more aware about drugs such as that.
Many kids who are already on prescription medicines get an early start on learning a bit about prescription medicines and how it's important to not take anyone else's medicine but your own, prescribed from your doctor(s).

Terrible people are dying, but it makes me sad and happy at the same time. I am in horrible pain from a car accident 30 years ago and getting prescription meds is near impossible. I made a appointment to a pain clinic and it took 9 months to see a doctor only to be denied from my insurance and the pharmacy i go too also. I gave up long ago 😈

Don’t take anything from people, they can fool you into making it look like candy. Be wise if you go trick or treating.

Is it me or does there always seem to be a rise in targeting against kids when Halloween gets closer?

I have a fifth grader this is actually pretty bad because literally my school had sent out a warning to parents to warn kids I do not take any kids their kids drugs cost money their parents are not gonna tell the kids I just give this to your friend it’s gonna be fine no the kids not gonna give it to the friend I’m gonna give it to him selves and eat it and die 😮

Why there are not huge tv, radio, etc commercials and advertisement about not using those drugs? It is only in the news but nothing about telling stupid teenagers not to use those drugs. So why blaming the drug dealers when there is nothing advising those young people not to use it?
