I'm 75 now I have now had 5 generations of Rott's they are the greatest dogs. Never had an issue with aggression but they are protective and need to be introduced. A Rott has been by my side pretty much my whole adult life.

I own a Rottweiler. Got him at 8 weeks old. I work with him every day. He will be 4 years old in October. Best dog I have had.

Bad dogs almost always come from bad owners. We adopted an abused Rottie who had every reason to be vicious. Turned out to be one of the most social, sweetest, smartest dogs I've ever lived with. LOVE this breed.

The rottweiler definitely does not deserve it's bad reputation. Working at a kennel I've met so many rottweilers and not a single one of them has been vicious, in fact they've all been big, lovable, clowns. They are big, strong, intimidating looking dogs but they're actually very comical. They are however very loyal and protective of their loved ones, which is a good thing. If a rottweiler forms a bond with you, it will fight to the death to protect you. Sorry if I'm rambling but I love rotti's 😊

My experience with my rottie who has a little mix and a truly rescued baby at age 4 is the best most loving, smart charming baby I have ever known. Yes he had issues, never socialized, great fears, caged for 10 hrs plus daily with 1/2 cup water and God only knows what else. Now 10 he is one great dog! I loved all of my dogs. But Nelson is so great!

My friend John had a Rottie in his Liquor store. The dog knew the store, the building and the family were his . He had his own fan club of the kids in the neighborhood and the respect of all the noisy teenagers. I loved to scratch all the places he could not.

I had a Rottweiler named Zack back in the 90s. I was living in Hollywood Hills, there are many trails in the area. He loved the hill and city life. I worked in the studios and hung out on 'The Strip", and he was with us as much as possible. Everyone knew and loved Zack. He was a local celebrity and got free drive-thru food all the time. A stranger was his new best friend. He even helped a few people get over their fear of dogs. But, the down side was: 1) He HATED other dogs. He never got physically aggressive with one but possibly would've eventually. 2) DROOL. 3) A bed hog. But thats all big dogs I think. Overall he was the best dog I ever had. He did eat the arm off a couch (very expensive couch). And I mean ate it, not just chewed on it. But that was our fault for leaving him alone for more than 4 hours lol.

We had 3 different Rottweilers that we loved dearly! They are our favorite dog even today, because we are 80 years old, and we don’t feel up to the task of training a Rottweiler puppy. Now we have cavapoos, they are very sweet, and funny!

i got my holly and molly when they were just very young pups. molly was 12 1/2 when cancer got her.
95 pound of nothing but love.
i took them places and they got to see do and smell
many new things, and people. so they loved to go for a drive. as they know all the attention they would get were we went.
and yes a couple kids tried to get into my house one night. they ran and jumped over the fence real fast when my dogs popped there heads through the vertical blinds at the patio door.
but when i was around the world was golden. and so were they.
