***UPDATE** I ran updates and re-ran the Cinebench R23 and it did much better scoring 9402 in Multicore. I am running single core test right now. Stay tuned.

Whenever I hear about ThinkPads, I always think of:

Complete Ports USB-A, Ethernet, HP-Jack, Card Reader, Sim Card Slot, HDMI, Type-C no dongles needed
User replaceable RAM, Battery, Drive
Long Travel Keyboards
Built like a tank
Plenty of after market replacement parts
Large batteries

Aside from the Bulk or thickness, ThinkPads are very relieable and DOES NOT COMPROMISE for the sake of aesthetics. It was their main selling point. If I wanted to get something thin and light while sacrificing reliability, I would've gone for an XPS. Now I'm wondering which brand offers the same features as the Pre-2018 or even Pre-2013 thinkpads :(

This one is no longer a ThinkPad
Z13 seems like a Macbook with a Trackpoint, I wish they'd just create a new line of Laptops instead of butchering our beloved ThinkPad.

I think your channel is going to be one of the top review channels soon. These reviews are just a delight to watch.

Nice PC. 1080p camera was good. Mics. are good and clear sounding. Would have been nice if they at least put in one USB-A port. Display appears good. Overall it appears to be a very good unit for business and travelers especially when traveling by airplane. Great "First Look" review. Looking forward to your full review.

One problem I can see is that type c port is directly soldered to the mainboard, it should have been a separate replaceable module. Being soldered to the mainboard means it doesn't have room to play and will eventually be a failure since you will plug it in and out everyday or to an external monitor.

I waited a million years for this, thank you so much Andrew, you are awesome!

I was waiting for this but then there was a sale for the MacBook pro 14 M1 Pro. I'm glad I went for the MacBook. I've been used to 90-120hz screens for years as I was using the OnePlus 7 pro when it first came out. Ever since then my eyes have become extremely used to anything above 60hz. Too bad this machine is only 60hz. Everything else looks amazing! Thanks for the review AMD, I was waiting for this one even though I already purchased the MacBook 14.

It’s crazy how I just got my ThinkBook 13S gen 4 with the 6800U for $860! That’s absolutely insane the price difference and almost exact same performance!!

Hi, Andrew. Good to see you again, my friend. I love the look of this laptop, It does seem to have a heavy nightall black HP Spectre vibe about its look and an Elitebook feel for the functionality. I like the leather option - looks pristine and classy. I love the display, especially its rather high color accuracy for an IPS display, but I think there was room for a drop-jaw style USB-A port. Sadly, most of the peripherals are still yet to migrate to Type C. I do love the availability of permanent connectivity - that is one option that I would always go for. Overall, a truly beautiful laptop - one that I would happily buy. Well done on the 127K subscribers, btw... soon it will be at 500K . Cheers.

A Premium laptop at a Premium price with a gorgeous 1080p webcam, ok internal mic quality, beautiful screen and good internal speaker sound output. I also like that it has more available ports than the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320 (2022) (OLED) Andrew recently reviewed. All and all, it is a beautiful machine to be had if you can afford it. Thank you Andrew for another Brilliant review!!

In the market for a new laptop and your recent videos have been great! Thanks! Are you planning to review the T14s Gen 3 AMD laptop with the OLED screen?

The webcam and sound are fantastic. one of the best premium laptops I saw and heard about. So far, this laptop is the best of 2022.

Fast enough and then prioritize battery and temps. The smart tradeoff.

This is looking good!

I/O, missing SD card reader. I don't need USB A. At least it has each USB C on each side.

Speakers down firing....hhhmm for the price I would expect better.

Shallow keys might be a deal breaker for me.

Vegan leather, perfect.

Ryzen 7 very efficient compared to Intel and close to M2 if we compare Cinebench R23 score and power usage. But it's true that Intel P can perform much better in CPU related tasks, the XPS 13 Plus can score more than M1 Pro in Cinebench R23, it's nuts. iGPU Intel is well behind AMD and M2.

4G is great, to go camping with my motorbike and do some programming in nature.

Hope Linux support is good and this will be one of the best ultrabooks to get this gen.
