Sonic Forces - I FOUND YOU, FAKER!

so here i was messing around with GameStates i figured out i can replace the Start Menu with other game states, like ending a stage and other stuff. one of them caused the level to restart and in doing so not unspawn or remove the other player, so in most cases unless something took control of the one that spawned in i would have no control what so ever, in the case of the avatar since i was able to regain control, i was able to move around but no jumping, restoring the code to make pause work again didnt work, the only thing that did was the wispon and wispon specials and even then you can see my movement get limited meaning it was effecting ether the wrong player or both players... its definatly interesting, but none of this is very useful.

Two things:

1). I'm really confused about whats happening. All my small brain can process is the ability to make a doppelganger of yourself and being able to move the camera freely.

2). When I first saw the cutscene of Shadow roundhouse kicking the fake Shadow 06 style, I made that same joke to myself :>

I have a question, is it possible to make rings give boost?
And, is it possible to make this game a 2 player game? I think you controled the avatar and Sonic individually in a "tag team mode", so I think you can change some thing to create a 2 player game
