That's why Gambit said: "Maybe I was born here" because Fox delayed his movie till the Disney acquisition.

Seeing her grown up I think she definitely has the look/presence of an action star. It was somewhat believable seeing her take out Juggernaut.

Look at the five heroes we saw in the Void. Elektra, Blade, Johnny, Gambit, Laura. An assassin, a hunter, a hotshot pilot, a gambler and a (slight feral) young adult (though she is a lot better in D&W) All these types are the ones that will jump first without thinking. Except for Cassandra, most of the villains shown in the void are the same way. Jump first. Think later. That is likely the profile that Paradox targeted as possible agents that can be used in various timelines.

They likely looked at the fine print, like Wade did, and rejected Paradox's offer, only to get sent to the Void.

We saw that Paradox had an agent in the Void.

Laura was freaking great. Full-on Wolvie threat level, but absolutely her own person. I'm so glad they got the actor back for that role. It absolutely gutted me seeing her there.

I think you’re as right as could be. The timelines of Fox could bury a writing room for 10 years and still not be right lol. I do hope X-23 is in future productions. Played by a very talented actor, young enough to play a non-aging character for quite some time and a perfect example of great writing for female leads.

I think the whole point of the movie is that it breaks the 4th wall and doesn't give a shit about stupid timelines. Just the love and nostalgia of the previous movies. It dispenses with perfect time line continuity and just says fuck it, lets just have fun. And it works damn near flawlessly.

If Paradox attempted to recruit Laura and failed then chances are that he put her in the Void for the simple purpose of her not only being a threat to his plans but because she could prove useful later. Although there was the threat of Alioth in the Void, Paradox would probably still use her and the heroes that were banished to the Void for something later. If we're to believe that the TVA is still making sure that no version of Kang can become a problem then it's best to have a back up team of heroes and villains in the Void if all else fails. Paradox might have used them to fight back against Kang should any plans to stop a version of him fail. I'd even argue that they would/could be used against Dr. Doom since we're suppose to be getting him later on too; if he becomes a multiversal threat, kicking off Secret Wars, and causing problems in all timelines that could stop certain heroes then you have some in reserve to fight back just in case he doesn't get to them.

no guys, the people in the void that were there were there from the old kang ruled TVA. electra was put there the second the netflix electra became cannon, old mags was put there the second micheal fastbender played him, johnny storm the second the new FF was made, gambit the second they cast tatum but them trashed the production. essentially the second disney purchased fox every single character ended up there save deadpool and wolverine, the two characters whose popularity and plot device allowed them to stay in multiple timelines. paradox had nothing to do with it. he couldnt prune any previous time lines because his pruning machine was not done. deadpool was his first and only target.

Deadpool and Wolverine took place at least 6 years after Deadpool 2 and in the beginning of that movie Wade stated that Logan had died previous to the beginning.

What most people don’t think of is that in Deadpool and Wolverine when Deadpool visits wolverine’s grave he was using a tempad he more than likely traveled to the future likewise Laura Kinney was likely pulled from further in the future it’s the most obvious explanation

You’re assuming that she was pruned for the same reasons as Electra and blade. Considering that she was a clone, it’s likely that she was pruned because she should have never existed in the first place, or maybe she was supposed to die in Logan but Logan saved her and therefor she was pruned. It’s interesting to consider…

I think the problem lies in trying to force Logan into Deadpool's timeline. Colossus confirms the Professor is alive at least in Deadpool 1.

Let us not forget that the TVA overlooks what would otherwise be gross violations of the timeline because these actions ultimately serve the sacred timeline. E.G. Traveling through time to return the infinity stones. The avengers were given a pass on this because it was considered a scheduled event.
