Bro, they should have just done the freakin' story from legends where there are creatures immune to the force and therefore can't be predicted or be affected by things like force choking. Taking a chance I’m cinema died in 90s. Write yourself a time machine and go back to then. They’ll just keep remaking things until the end of time and now that the have AI, it will only be more formulaic and residual.

What you described is literally every other bit of scifi, but with the Force. Star Wars is an IMMENSE galaxy. You do not need to look for other galaxies to build stories in.

What about a movie of the Rakatan Infinite Empire and how it fell? How about movies based on the Jedi Schism? What about a Kyle Katarn movie?

Also Star Wars has done extra-galactic life forms before, like the Yuuzhan Vong. They just haven't brought them to screen.

Why label it as star wars if its so disconnected? Just call it something else and have it be its own series/universe.

I see what you are takin about and I LOVE IT. Disney is just too scared to try something new. They cling to what works and knows what will pull money in but I’m reality it’s just causing them to sink bc they are ruining everything we used to love.

I understand what you mean but on some level you should just make your own thing if that's the case. I mean at some point he just wouldn't be Star wars at all it a new thing. May even be better but it wouldn't be Star wars after that.
