In my opinion the worst part of Teen Beach Movie 2 was that they canonically made it so that Cruzin for a Brusin (and all of the songs that took place in Wet Side Story) had gotten erased from history, which is a crime in itself.

Personally, my favorite part of this movie was the song “On My Own”. Not gonna lie, Ross Lynch sang that song perfectly and I even almost shed a tear. It’s a very underrated song.

this is overthinking just for fun but you ever think that if lela and tanner are from a movie that means theyre actors which means they already should exist in the real world.

You know what would have maybe saved this movie? Getting older actors to play an older real life Layla and Tanner and interact with their younger movie selves. Kind of giving them closer to know their real life counterparts had a full life and knowing that being in a movie like this contributed to a change for the better.

Instead of altering reality because then what? Layla constantly changes things whenever she gets bored?? When does it end???

THANK YOU!! Reversing the entire plot of the 1st movie will never not piss me off. I loved the idea being flipped with the movie characters being in our world but the fact that they upended everything!! & ruined our chances of a 3rd one during the height of that era’s d-com franchises getting 3 movies?? THANK YOU! I've never been over the fact that Brady's character basically got killed, because so much of his character came out of watching the movie when he was a kid. Like he would of never learned how to surf or be friend with his friend. He doesn't have a future, because he doesn't have his surfboard making anymore. I mean why?!?

Counterpoint to the plot hole- I could totally understand her just watching the movie because she thought Brady was cute and wasn’t paying much attention to the actual movie, which is why Brady had to explain things later on
