I live half a block away from the Charles Camsell hospital. They are renovating it to become an apartment

I'm a Direct descendent of Charles Camsell. He was a great man who wanted to help the less fortunate

It’s not being torn down, they’re remodelling it into apartment complexes!! let that sink in. Someone literally pitched the idea “hey let’s take the haunted and incredibly controversial building and sell it as apartment complexes” 😳 and it stuck!!! who in da world thought that was a great investment?!

Yeah I was also born at the decrepit building back in 86

That’s nuts! My new house is literally across the street from it haha fml. I’ll definitely be jumping that fence in the summer

Its an active construction zone with condos being built, stay away from there. Great stories, lived up the street from this hospital 8 years ago went to work at 3am every day and I did see lights inside...I assume they where from security guard who where patrolling with flash lights as the power is off in the building at that time. As a child I was a patent there on 3 occasions. I never seen or felt any thing in there...Now the Aberheart Hospital at the University in Edmonton, that place is spooky

Yeah. In a nutshell. Charles Camsell is the creepiest hospital that i know. Had Friends living in the Inglewood / Westmount Area. As well fenced in. With Security Cameras in case of Trespassers. Even though in the vacant lot. In the past yes i did go pass the hospital during the daytime. Just either standing in one place or walking up & down 114 St. & Groat Rd. You sense something uneasy. But during my time Loitering the place i didn, t hear any strange sounds coming from any part of the Hospital. All these times i.m always alone. Very Ballsy

The history of this place is really interesting, some of my relatives went there and were buried there . #Denetha

Blah blah blah! I had my child there! I had surgery there! Used to go to church there each Sunday! I used to live right across the street, My son attended the elementarty right across the other way. Haunted my foot. Its just an old building.
